Being a successful mediapreneur can be tricky, especially when it comes to that always scary word…monetizing.

Tell me if this has happened to you. You were all excited to tell your friends/Mom about your new (blog, content website, online magazine, show, podcast, whatever) on (dogs, fashion, marketing, business, monkeys, sports). You tell them about how passionate and pumped you are.

Then comes awkward silence.

Then, “So, how are you going to make any money with that?”

On the other hand, if you are involved in what is known as the “Internet Marketing Community”, it is often the opposite. People are really quick to tell you about all the ways you can make money from your platform. Create a course! Get some software made and sell it! Do consulting and speaking! Start a membership site and have people pay for access! Sell some ads and sponsorships! Get going with a coaching a program and teach!

Next thing you know, you are overwhelmed. What direction should you go in? What do you feel good about? What is the right move? And then…you might pull your hair out.

In today’s video, I’m going to give a tip that will result in little-to-no-hair-pulling-out with my tips on how to look at monetizing.
