-You need to pay attention to the iPad. Why? Because it is a new publishing medium for your business and an amazing consumption device. And you wouldn’t make an app for it that was an advertisement, right? Apps are focused around content. If your business can think this way, you are in good shape.

-As more and more people create online content, your niche needs to become more specific. Some of the bigger niches are already dominated. You need to be unique.

-Why , the company that employees Scoble to create this content, is brilliant. They have completely tapped into the concept of . Rackspace could have hired some big time agencies to make some ads. Or bought a ton of banner ads. Instead, essentially, they bought Scoble. As his content spreads throughout the web, you get a soft reminder on his websites that it is powered by Rackspace. No, Rackspace doesn’t control the content and all the thoughts are his, but they are present on the site. Sort of as if to say: “Enjoy this great content by Robert Scoble, and oh by the way check out Rackspace for your hosting needs.” This is freakin’ smart. So, who is your Scoble? Is it you? Can you hire a mini-Scoble?

-The importance of testing, trying and focusing on building an audience. The key to everything is being relevant and finding your audience. That is the trickiest part.
